The Groves sophomore album ‘Pack Heavy Travel Light’ is a personal statement developed by the bustling band out of Tampa, Florida. What began as an EP to share their latest material—arguably their strongest, and most cohesive recordings to date—has become a complete album and musical journey of the band’s belief in the importance of ‘self.’
Recorded live in a horse-barn converted to recording studio—the band performed and recorded every song in one take, creating a unique sound that is a representation of the band’s musical leanings and flavor. A truly personal ‘band’ project is evident in the passion and power of each song.
